Registration puts an opportunity on the record in your name. Acknowledgment comes back within five business days.
It records the opportunity against your organization on the date submitted. Where a second partner later approaches the same account, the registered entry is what gets referenced.
It is not a commitment to buy, and it does not oblige you to close. Register early, since the protection attaches to the record rather than to the outcome.
| How early can I register | As soon as there is a named organization and a real conversation. A first meeting is enough. |
|---|---|
| What if the customer already knows GEODI | Say so in the detail field. Prior contact is worked out on the record rather than assumed either way. |
| Does registering commit my customer | No. It records who is working the account and carries no obligation on either side. |
| What happens after acknowledgment | A short call to agree how the opportunity runs, including whether it makes sense to co-sell. |
| Can I register outside my usual territory | Yes, across Canada, the United States and Mexico. Coverage is confirmed as part of acknowledgment. |
